Weston Data System's business started in 1999. We have extensive
backgrounds in building and equipment
maintenance, aviation airframe-powerplant,
and computer programming. We had a need for a
user friendly pm scheduling software so we could
keep track of all the scheduled maintenance. With
hundreds of equipment items to maintenance, it
was a necessity to keep everything maintained
properly. With our maintenance and computer
experience, we developed a building maintenance
software package that takes care of it in a
simple, easy to understand manner. The software
we developed and perfected for 3 years from 1998
to 2001 is the for-runner of the products we have
today, and it has proven itself over and over in
just about any kind of business that has
equipment that needs maintenance. For the price,
we have even made it affordable for anyone and we
continue to improve and add to our software and
also welcome suggestions that will help our
programs be even better. This year we have added
several enhancements to our CMMS maintenance
scheduling programs and also introduced
simple to use Work Order Programs to set up on a
network for all departments to be able to send
work order requests to maintenance. The work order
programs were developed by us using input from various
businesses requesting specific features in a work order
program to make it simple for anyone to use. Weston Data System's
scheduling programs, building maintenance
software, and Work Order Programs are in use
today by businesses in 47 states and 14
countries. It is used by corporations with
multiple buildings with hundreds and even
thousands of data entries for maintenance CMMS,
including Property Management Companies,
Hospitals, Schools, Correctional
Institutions, Casinos, Oil Platforms, Hotels, City and State agencies. It is also used
by numerous small businesses with just as much
need for equipment and building maintenance as
the larger companies.
Our scheduling software and work order
software in all cases has cut down on
confusion and paperwork. The first business that
we set up for went from preparing 50 pages for
maintenance per month, down to 4 pages with our
cmms maintenance software.
We have now come out
with programs that not only perform scheduling,
but they also automatically create, print out,
and store work orders. This is a feature that
many customers have been asking for, so we have
worked very hard for a very long time to
accomplish this, and now we are excited to have
it done, both in the Single Schedule Program and
the Multi Schedule Program. Our newest program is
the Department Work Order Program, mentioned
above, and we are equally excited about this as
it was designed strictly by input from one of our
customers suggestions for use in a large hotel.
