for Scheduling Programs
    The Express Database Setup Service is not meant to scare you into purchasing the service.  The setup on any of our programs is easy for you to do yourself, like it has always been.  The purpose of this service is to help those who may not have the time or manpower to meet a deadline of having a program in place.  To get your database just how you want it can take some time, but it usually is not any emergency to get it perfect right away.  The database can always be refined as time goes on, and that is how it is normally done.  Each program comes with instructions on how to setup the database correctly, and, even though it is a learning process, it is not very difficult.  We also give free tech support to help with anything needed.
    The purpose of this service is to help get the program that you choose fully operational within just a few days.  This comes in very handy for those who have a deadline requirement, or just do not have the extra time or manpower to spend on getting everything set up.		  
    Each of the scheduling programs has it's own level of time involved in setting up the database or databases.  For this reason, there is a different price for each.  Unlike the programs themselves, which can be purchased in many cases by PO and Invoice, this service must be paid for in advance through the card service on this site.
The option of purchasing one of these services will be offered at the time of program purchase.
Express Database Setup Service

    This is a service where Weston Data Systems will setup the B10, SD10, SD15, or the W15 program for you and express the program to you or let you download the completed program and then priority mail the CD's to you. With the download it is possible to receive and run your program in 3 days, and 5-7 days on the express mail way. The Combo programs are only more because they include the DP5E Department Work Order Program which doesn't require a database setup.
This service includes: 
  • Building and balancing the multiple databases.
  • Personalizing the schedules in your company's name.
  • Performing the original setup on the Master Work Order Forms for all items in the databases.(W10 & W15)
  • Setting up data into the Master work order forms.(W10 & W15)
  • Personalizing the work orders for your company.(W10 & W15)

        The requirement on your part is that you e-mail us an equipment list (on spreadsheet), equipment location, and the basic procedures to be performed. It would also be helpful if you had a basic idea of the interval for each of the procedures for each item. 
    (Example: # of days, weeks, or months between maintenance duties).
    The SD15 and the W15 also require the names of the different databases. (Example: Building 1, Building 2, etc.)
    If you are not sure of the intervals WDS will assign intervals for them based on experience with these items, and then you can edit them as you wish.

The DP5E portion of any of the combo packages does not require any database setup.  
The Express Setup Service refers to the B10, SD10, SD15,W10, 
and the W15 portion of the combo or the same programs by themselves.
